“Leadership comes in small acts as well as bold strokes.”

— Carly Fiorina

As a divisional head or department head, the challenge is to develop and live a common understanding of culture and leadership with the leadership team. It may be important to coach executives regarding their own leadership approach.

Frequently, divisions or departments cover a wide range of topics that need to be controlled from a higher viewpoint. In addition to the operational task of breaking down the overarching requirements of the company management into concrete work packages and responsibilities for teams and to make change initiatives concrete for the teams involved, the focus is on what leadership behaviour we, as the management team in this area, would like to have in the pursuit of our goals.

Leadership needs to be made a collectively owned topic in order to provide the necessary framework for achieving operational objectives. A shared leadership culture makes areas and organisations independent of the presence of individual leaders and therefore more likely to be sustainably successful.

Let’s Work Together

Working more flexibly in a sustainable way – that’s what makes organisations successful in the long run.
